001 How to Use

Ask, then listen.

Type an identifier like N07 or KCDW and press Brief me. The briefing is spoken aloud and shown on screen, and your last five airports appear as one-tap chips under the box.

Prefer to talk? Tap the microphone and say the identifier, using plain letters or the ICAO phonetic alphabet. Voice input works in Chrome, Edge, and Safari (on iPhone and iPad, turn on Siri & Dictation first). Firefox has no voice input, so the microphone button is hidden there. Type the identifier instead.

On Android

Open this page in Chrome.
Tap the microphone and allow mic access. The prompt appears once.
Say the identifier: “charlie delta whiskey.”
For one-tap access, open Chrome’s menu and choose Add to Home screen. The page installs like an app, icon and all.

On iPhone and iPad

Works in Safari: type or use the microphone (needs Siri & Dictation enabled in Settings).
Tap Brief me to hear it. iPhones require a tap before a page may speak.
Prefer full hands-free? The Airport Weather Siri shortcut adds “Hey Siri” invocation and works in CarPlay.

On Windows and Mac

Chrome and Edge support the microphone and the spoken briefing.
Firefox speaks the briefing but has no voice input, so the microphone is hidden there. Type the identifier instead.
The voice comes from your operating system, so it varies by machine.

Coverage is worldwide: 80,000+ airports, including fields that don’t report weather.
Recent airports are remembered on this device only.
In Chrome and Edge, voice input is transcribed by the browser’s speech service.
